Mortgage of Choice is a No Fee Broker.
At Mortgage of Choice we are passionate about providing the highest level of customer service whilst remaining firmly committed to our principle of No Broker Fee. This applies to all of our customers, regardless of personal circumstances, and further reinforces our commitment to the principles of Treating Customers Fairly.
How Does Mortgage of Choice Get Paid?
Currently, the majority of lenders pay a commission to brokers who arrange mortgages with them. This is called a Procuration Fee which is generally based on a part percentage of the loan amount, typically around 0.35% on a prime, mainstream mortgage. The level of commission increases as the case scenario moves through Buy to Let and on to the more complex and time consuming mortgages such as Adverse (Bad Credit).
- Under mortgage regulations customers must be supplied with a Key Facts Illustration before making any commitment to proceed. This document confirms all the key terms and conditions of the mortgage product being recommended, including the Procuration Fee being paid by the lender to the broker.
